Requirement: As part of a customer loyalty program, send automated messages for various aspects of customer life-cycle communications process.  Need for commercial messages to be CAN-SPAM compliant.  Awareness or requirement surfaced by legal less than one week before major program launch.

Solution: Set up “trigger” messages using SmartSource tools.  Send messages via Web services requests initiated by corporate web site and corporate CRM/MRM systems.  Compare commercial messages against opt-out database before sending.
