HP Selects SmartSource CAN-SPAM Service

BURLINGTON, MA – SmartSource announced the release of its CAN-SPAM Compliance Service and the selection of the service by Hewlett Packard for processing third party email lists for CAN-SPAM compliance.

According to Curtin, Hewlett Packard has selected the SmartSource solution to address the need to process email lists that are sourced from third party vendors while protecting the security of both the suppression list and the mailing lists.

The key to the SmartSource solution is a centralized process for receiving email delivery lists from any source; processing those lists against the suppression database; and returning the lists. Additional features include sending along an opt-out link to capture any opt-outs that result from subsequent mailings.
With this solution, email senders can implement a CAN-SPAM compliant system immediately with minimal impact on marketing procedures and systems.
