E-Marketing Applications

SmartSource provides e-marketing solutions for our clients.  Our vision is to provide applications and supporting capabilities that allow our clients to automate their best marketing practices.

Our solutions are provided as on-demand SaaS (Software as a Solution) applications.  SmartSource offers a suite of products that are uniquely suited to the e-marketing requirements of today’s leading companies.  Our applications are powerful stand-alone solutions but excel when combined to address our clients’ needs.  Our applications are architected to allow us to design, build and manage applications that utilize standard components while providing the flexibility to customize and integrate “the last 10%” of the solution.  We refer to it as our “90/10 rule”.

This document lays out the SmartSource applications so that you can understand the role and capabilities of the individual components as well as the powerful synergies that result from the combination and customization of these components.

The SmartSource applications share the following characteristics:

• On-demand, SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) implementation.  SmartSource hosts and manages all applications.
• Web services APIs.  All major functionality can be accessed via Web services APIs.  This provides for integration with 3d party and client applications.  Many clients have built applications that utilize the SmartSource infrastructure as part of their own applications.
• Role-based privileges managed by account and by users.  Roles allow special functionality to be provided based on user privileges.  Roles also allow SmartSource to incorporate special requirements on a custom development basis.
• User account management.  Registrations, passwords, roles and authorizations are managed across applications to simplify and automated provisioning for multiple users.
• High-volume transaction processing capabilities.  All applications are designed to scale for large numbers of transactions as well as numbers of users.
• Dedicated applications and resources.  From IP addresses and domains for email applications to dedicated databases and servers for performance scalability.
• Cross-application integration.  Each application utilizes and extends the capabilities of its companion application.
