Position Summary: We have openings for both entry-level and experienced marketing services support professionals. The e-Marketing Services Specialist is responsible for completing various technical tasks for clients in support of their on-line marketing applications. Primary duties include providing first-line support for our clients as they use our applications. Also, you will be using our applications and tools to prepare/edit HTML and/or text documents, preparing and managing client data, and testing prior to launch. The e-Marketing Services Specialist is the primary point of contact between SmartSource and our clients.
Essential Responsibilities: • Assists clients with our applications • Completes email campaign preparation activities for clients on a daily basis • Manages multiple client production schedules, prioritizes workload • Communicates directly with clients and management to coordinate projects • Works with clients to clarify information to ensure work is completed accurately • Demonstrates strong organizational skills to meet all objectives expeditiously • Troubleshoots daily production issues as they arise, escalates issues as necessary • Follows outlined quality assurance procedures, closely manages details of all work performed • Reports any quality-related or client-related issues to management, resolves outstanding corrective action items as they arise • Professionally represents SmartSource to assigned clients, builds client relationships • Helps foster a team approach to meeting objectives of our clients • Participates with the department re-engineering efforts to increase efficiencies
Required Computer Skills: • Strong understanding of HTML/CSS • Familiarity with data management applications such as MS Excel and MS Access • Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, SQL and basic programming skills are all a plus
Qualifications: • Previous customer service / client service experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Creative approach to problem solving • Strong technical ability • Detail oriented • Bright, energetic personality • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks within a tight timeframe • Ability to follow defined procedures as well as learn and implement new procedures • Strong team-focused attitude
